Preparatory practical training:

Prospective students are required to complete practical training prior to studies: applicants must prove successful completion of either an apprenticeship or of a twelve-week practical on the job training in a relevant field as long as it does not range among prerequisites for admission to a “Fachoberschule”. As a general rule, 8 weeks of this practical on the job training must have been completed prior to the studies and the rest before taking the intermediate examination (Diplomvorprüfung). Students must provide a certificate from the company, stating the duration of the practical on the job training and describing the trainee's task(s). In case the training period continues past the application date, this certificate should also specify the date of termination of the training.

In case you have completed an apprenticeship which does not match the chosen field of study, please enquire at the Admissions Office of UAS Worms whether it could be fully or partially acknowledged as a practical on the job training.
