Degree: Bachelor (BA), Master (MA)

Preparatory practical training:

Prospective students are required to complete practical on the job training prior to studies: applicants must prove successful completion of either an apprenticeship (in commercial field) or a practical on the job training of at least twelve weeks (in commercial field) as long as it does not range among prerequisites for admission to a “Fachoberschule”. At least eight weeks of the work placement must be completed before commencing the studies. In case you have completed an apprenticeship which does not match the chosen field of study, please enquire at the Admissions Office of UAS Worms whether it could be fully or partially acknowledged as practical training. Applicants must provide a certificate from the employer, stating the duration of the practical training and describing the trainee's task(s). If the training period continues after the application date, this certificate should also specify the date of termination of the training. No admission can be granted without a fully completed training period.

After a successful completion of the final examination, along with the diploma, a "Diploma Supplement" in the English language is issued. It provides a description of the content and level of the studies and examinations that were successfully completed. This document facilitates the professional recognition of a UAS degree in an international context.
